Hi. I am a very proud wife of a loving Navy man. My husband received the official notice yesterday that he is being deployed overseas. He leaves next week for training. We have three children that are also so proud of thier daddy but of course very sad that he is leaving. The military does thier best to take care of the families left behind, unfortunately, it will be a month to two months before we begin to receive any type of consistant income. We were forced to sell our home three years ago due to an abundance of bills that had piled up over the years prior, during which my husband was sick with cancer (he is totally cancer free today). We are now renters. We would like to stay in our home as to not cause so much disruption to the kids while their father is gone. Again, unfortunately, we are having a hard time making ends meet. We are currently behind in bills and have just been given a three day notice from our landlord. We only need to pay August rent to get current. As much as I hate asking for handouts, I am swallowing my pride and doing so. I just want my husband to leave without the having the stress of money so that he can give his full attention to the job he is going overseas to do and get back safely to his family. Thank you for taking your time to read my post.
